Selected Morbidity Data for Hospital Events 2003
Annual statistical publication that collates and analyses national data on the numbers and diagnoses of privately funded patients discharged from hospitals.
The publication Selected Privately Funded Morbidity Data 2003: Summary Tables can be downloaded as a (PDF, 137 KB).
The detailed statistical tables can be downloaded as an (Excel, 2 MB). These tables provide the total number of discharges, the number of day cases, the mean length of stay and number of discharges for age groups classified by principal diagnosis and procedure.
