The publication Selected Privately Funded Morbidity Data 2003/04: Summary Tables presents data and analyses of national data on the numbers and diagnoses of privately funded patients discharged from hospital during the 2003/04 financial year.

These tables provide the total number of discharges, the number of day cases, the mean length of stay and number of discharges for age groups classified by principal diagnosis and procedure in privately funded hospitals. Also provided is the total number of discharges, number of day cases and the mean length of stay for privately funded and publicly funded facilities over the 2001/02-2003/04 financial period.
